FFP 2.0.0.13
The title says everything. It takes probably 3-4seconds to switch a tab to another.
i have installed tab Mix Plus. Is that the reason? But I have really got used to Tab Mix Plus and hope not to disable it.
Also, even though I close the program, FFP is still running so that I can't take my USB drive off. I know I can stop a program by using task manager, but computers at my college won't let me open the task manager by hitting ctrl+alt+delete for a security reasons, I guess. What is going on with FFP?
Try it without Tab Mix Plus to verify if that is the problem.
Others have pointed out issues that seem like they might involve Tab Mix Plus.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
I did it without TMP and it worked smoothly but sometimes got slow.
I guess TMP was the cause and I'm really having hard time without TMP.
Is there any good solutions for this?
Do you use TMP's session manager? If not, disable it. It's not TMP itself that causes these issues, but TMP's session manager in particular. With it turned on, every time you navigate, change tabs, etc., it writes to your profile.
"Do you use TMP's session manager? If not, disable it."
Bruce did you mean "If so, disable it"?

I think that he means: If you have it activated but don't use it, disable it.
Blue is everything.
So, here are the things I found:
-Whether the session manager is on or off, in my settings, it takes about 160sec to shut down FFP. (I was checking how long the light of USB drive was flashing)
-Without the session manager, it is twice as fast as load a first page, which was expected.
-With TMP, switching tabs is slow, takes three to four sec. Without TMP, I have no stress with switching tabs.
I like the idea of TMP and the session manager. I rely on both and those are a part of the reason why I started to use FFP. But slowing down switching tabs is really stressful to me. I could probably live without the session manager but I really need other functions of TMP.
I'm in the same page as you here...
My whole portable browsing experience rely on the TMP and its session manager.
All I can do is tell you that I also noticed a delay on changing tabs, but not all the time. It just happens once on a while, and only when I have lots of tabs opened. On closing FFP, for me it takes about 60 seconds.
Maybe its a hardware issue?
When I use FFP on computers with USB 1.1 instead of USB 2.0 I have a severe hit on its performance.
