Hey guys
I'm 100% not a programmer or anything. I have not got the skills, knowledge or time to be one. However I know I love the work done by others. What I'm writing for is to ask if it is within regulation for me to post links to Open Sourced games and applications that I have made portable using the Portable App Creator. I dont really have any intention to develop these if they are permitted to be on the site but what I am thinking is have a forum for uploading such data for the real programmers to come along and tweak to make perfect. I mean no uploading anything that doesn't work only stuff that has been tested on a couple computers then if it works upload to this site with notes explaining it is an open sourced app, where it came from, that it has been made portable using the PAC, with the hope that someone with real expertise will touch it up. Anyway just an idea as Ive managed to make some portable games and programs and would love to share them.
Many thanks and take care

you can do it in the beta testing forum and following the rules for the title that they have there...
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report

Hey Aciago
Would you be willing to help a pinch more. For apps/games I've created with PAC how would I go about packaging them so that others can use them properly? I mean for example: the app is Nexuiz
Do I create a self extracting zip with both the portableapps folder and the actual game folder and insert some instruction for their distribution and if so How? if there is another method (Preferably easier) please let me know.

i would just zip the folder of whatever app you want to put up. you don't need to mess with the standard ways if they're just made with PAC; just don't label them as development tests because any dev or official apps here are not generated by PAC.
that depends on the final size of the zipped file... but you should also include the source code and that makes it bigger.
To learn how to do it you can check launchers posted here: https://portableapps.com/node/12344
BTW, Nexuiz was already done (in the same post)...
