Blizzard's latest offical Starcraft patch allows you to play the game without a CD and without using any third-party hacks. Theoretically it should be possible to play from a thumb drive. Has anyone tried this yet?

Although it can be used without CD, it probably still uses Registry entries for settings and so on.
yeah, but you can probably back up the registry keys and have a script add and remove them on each run.
