Just Released: BulletProof FTP Server Portable Edition

Hey all. I'm the developer of BPFTP Server/Client and I'm big into the USB/Flash-Drive thing.

To this end, I just released "BulletProof FTP Server Portable Edition" which includes an installer and Auto-Run support (as much as MS will allow prior to their Start-Key product later in the year).

Check it out, let me know if you run into problems at:
bpadmin [at] builtbp [dot] com

I'm working on getting it to pass the tests, so it can be included here at PortableApps.com.

Thanks in advance,

- Matt

PortableApps.com currently

PortableApps.com currently only accepts open source projects, but there is work being done to start including freeware and commercial applications. Lots of legal issues to iron out before this can all start though. If you are interested in having your commercial application become an official PortableApps.com application at some point in the future, please send an email to the Business Development address located on this page. Thanks for the hard work on this app, and hopefully once commercial support is set up, it will be added.

this is great... ...except

this is great...

...except that you REQUIRE a USB drive to be plugged in, or else the installer quits.

I doubt I'm the only person who uses portable apps to run software on work computers, etc., directly from the hard drive.

Can you please either fix the installer so you can install anywhere, or provide this as a zip archive with no installer? Thanks.
