I was wondering if anyone has experience using Burrrn on a portable drive. I recently started using this program to create CDs using cue-sheets with flac files from EAC and I really like the way it works. I would like to add it to my USB drive but it doesn't integrate well with PA.com menu because of all the exe's associated with the program. Anyone found a way to deal with this?
your link to Burrrn is wrong, it's missing an R and in turn goes to one of those annoying spam-like list sites. the correct link is http://www.burrrn.net/

sorry to anyone who had to deal with that inconvenience. thanks for pointing that out, zach. I fixed my original link.
What is the license for this?
You need to make a launcher that will start the app, which should be located in a deeper folder. PAM will only "dig" for *.exe s one folder deep inside the main PortableApps folder. So the launcher should be the only exe. By default, apps in the PAF format have the base program directory in PortableApps/*appname*/App/*appname*.
If this app is under an open source license, I could make a launcher.
Also, if you use PAM Mod, you can rename and/or remove apps (or exes) from the menu.
The license info isn't really that obvious to me. The readme says the program is free "cardware". I don't know if that gives any insight.
I figured there would have to be some sort of launcher to avoid the multiple exes showing up in PA.com menu. I have noticed that people have made launchers for some non-opensource applications, such as EAC and DVDshrink, and posted on the forums. I don't know if this is an accepted practice or not.
I would like to learn how to make a launcher myself but I have no programming experience. I am willing to do research and learn but I don't know where to start. What application is used to make a launcher?
You just want to get rid of exe's from the menu? thats easy! Get the R30 menu mod. It allows adding exe files not from the main directory area, and hiding certain EXE files. It's also very similar to the original, so it's still user friendly. (Unlike some OTHER menu mods) There is also a templete launcher thing for this, but I must relocate it.

Apparently that means that that you can send a postacard to his house if you want to. I can't contact the developer, (he took down the reply function on the blog) and the app seems to have been published without an obvious license.![Pardon](https://portableapps.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/pardon.gif)
It looks like a good app to make portable though, if it was GPL.
[I second that, get Portableapps Menu Mod R30, it adds quite a few new functions. Just search the Beta testing forums.]
or wait a week for the official PAM 1.1 final release, and an alpha test of 1.5

Haha, "wait a week." Now where have I heard that one before...
