i downloaded the suite which im inpressed with however when i activated the anti virus programme it stated i needed to upgrade to the new version the problem is ive tryed to setup the new version but i keep getting an error warning that says the file is corrupted. ive downloaded it three times so far ive opted to run/ and save but the outcome is the same no matter what i do.i dont know if a virus could be preventing me from setting it up or if windows onecare interupting the download is causing the problem . any advice etc would be appreciated. also is there any chance of placing the updated clamwin in the portableapp suite as that downloaded without any problem yesterday.

hi tim cheers for answering . firstoff its stating its a 092 version. 2nd its 5.96mb.im sorry but ive got no idea what md5 is. and last but no means least i get an error stating its incomplete or corrupted every time i try to install and including twice today is 6times ive tried to do that so far. ive saved it then tried to install and run it from download with the same result. what would you advice tim?. cheers mate. cdj59

1. Current version of CWP is .092, .093 has not been released yet (CW .093 was just released)
2. 5.96 MB seems correct.
3. MD5 hash/check sum is a number generated by a program to ensure that a file is the same as the file the poster intended.

thanks its good2 be here. ive corrected the above but it was the cw i downloaded that reported i should download 0.93. see report below....

cheers tim ive downloaded the md5 checker and afterwards downloaded the new 0.93 version cw. and compared it and sure enough it was invalid. i think i'll give this one a miss. for now thanks for your help mate. catch you later. cdj59.
