menu

I have 2 small problems with Portable Apps. One, the Menu does not laonch automatically when I insert flash drive. I start it by exploring to the "Start Portable Apps.exe in root of USB drive or by making ashortcut on my computer desktop. 2. One the menu program is running in the Taskbar there seems to be no way of stopping it except by using Ctl-Alt-Delete and ending the application. The "x" in the lower right corner of the menu does nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks

1. It can't automatically

1. It can't automatically start when you insert your drive, it should, however, at least bring up the Windows Auto-Run window that lists a bunch of options, and Start PortableApps should be the first entry. This will only happen if the system you are using the device on does not have the auto-run feature disabled.

2. Right clicking the tray icon should bring up a menu with a close option. The X doesn't work yet. It should in the upcoming release. What version of the menu are you using? If it's the one that comes with the Suite downloads, I highly recommend updating to the latest beta release. This beta release is more stable than the current official release, and has a few more features. (The X doesnt work here either though)

the x in the beta ...

closes the menu as if I did a right-click - exit manuever.

But I guess the ideal process for the x is to close the menu and also eject the usb.

Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.
