Infrarecorder request

I though I would be happy with IR starting up in Express mode but now I rather have it start up in normal mode. Why? Well, if it starts in express mode and you click on something another window opens.. I don't know how or what is done to make it portable, but I have an habbit of closing the express window. This might trigger the launcher's clean up mode?

So I guess I would like to request IR starting up normally and make the Express optional (through a choice at install time for example).

I hope you understand.

the clean up is not done until both exes are closed so you have nothing to worry about. if you just don't like the irExpress then you can add the ini in the root folder and change InfraRecorderExecutable=irExpress.exe to InfraRecorderExecutable=InfraRecorder.exe. i am going to leave it the way it is because many people, myself included, prefer the express window. btw InfraRecorder 0.45 was just released and i should have it up in pre-release sometime soon. i may not get it out today though since i'm pretty busy today.

Travis, When you get a

Travis,
When you get a chance, can you give more information on the .ini file and it's location, please?

The only one I found in my copy was 'InfraRecorderPortableSettings' in the ./Data/settings/ directory. And, after adding the executable you referred to, it still starts up in Express.

ini

with all the PortableApps here the ini is located under Other\Source\InfraRecorderPortable.ini . just change that one line in that file and put it in the same folder as InfraRecorderPortable.exe
