It's a Solid State Drive, it contains no "disk"
or moving parts
They weigh about 70-100g,some are available as 1.8"
just put one in a eSATA or USB box. Heat and movement problem
with external HDD's solved .
It doesn't contain an actual disk, correct, but it's meant to replace one. You put it in a computer (or HDD box) instead of a real hard disk. Can be portable, yes, but a 32GB thumbdrive would be more portable. (but probably slow as anything!)
I think this belongs in the off topic forum.
Simplifying daily life through technology
even though its in the wrong part of the forums i still think its funny
Na na na, come on!
looks like we will need more devs to fill it all up.... lol

Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with Windows.
It's a hard disk replacement, though. An inexpensive 32GB thumbdrive would have impressed me more.

Actually no. The drive I bought was the Patriot Xporter. There was a 32 gig version but it was gone when I was ready to buy. They're pretty speedy
on my new sony TZ. 64GB, should be neat to try out and give it a run.
Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.
and here my little 320g baby i love it.
