Cue Splitter

Hi guys would it be possible to create a portable version of this small app called Cue Splitter.
the following information:

* Cue Splitter
* http://www.medieval.it/content/view/28/71/
* CUE Splitter is a freeware tool that can split single big audio track (mp3) into individual audio tracks using information from a .cue file.
* License is listed as Freeware

Not likely

Since we only make OpenSource Apps, not Freeware Sad
But
Someone might be willing to make just a Launcher for it Smile

Are you sure there's no OpenSource app that can do the same thing?

Tim

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

These?

Perhaps Audiobook Cutter Portable will work for them, if not, I found this app called Mp3Splt. If that one works for them, I may be able to do it at some point.

Check The Others

Check the others I mentioned first. You're more likely to get something like Mp3Splt made portable if it does what you're looking for.

thanks, I just checked it out

thanks, I just checked it out and it seems to work fine. It is very fiddly and quite complicated, still works though. Cue splitter is really simple and is quite intuitive.

A portable of either app would be really cool!

I'd like to see something

I'd like to see something like this too.

However, it's possible that open-source "mp3splt" might do the job as mentioned in one of the other posts.

If I remember correctly, open-source CDEX has the facility to split mp3s based on the cue file. Does BonkEnc? I'm not so sure it does.

Besides acting as a

Besides acting as a professional audio converter and video to audio converter, Bigasoft Audio Converter is also a smart CUE splitter. As a Mac CUE splitter, it can cut or split MP3, APE, WAV, APE, FLAC, etc using an associated CUE sheet to short tracks with names and ID3 tag information preserved.

In addition to split songs by CUE, Bigasoft Audio Converter also allows you to cut long music file to smaller parts by the help of its "Trim" function if your audio file does not have a CUE file attached.

Step-by-Step Guide to Split CUE MP3, APE, WAV, FLAC on Mac at http://www.bigasoft.com/articles/cue-splitter-mac.html

Medieval CUE Splitter is free

Medieval CUE Splitter is free software that is designed for splitting a large audio file like an album or a compilation into relative individual tracks with an associated CUE sheet w/o decoding. If you choose Medieval CUE Splitter to split audio without re-encoded, there is no quality loss. Moreover, it is capable of splitting almost all audio formats like FLAC, MP3, WAV, M4A, APE, WMA, MPC, OGG and TTA. CUE files in UTF-16, UTF-8, or ANSI encoding are supported. Just as the official website says, Medieval CUE Splitter is really the fastest and easiest audio track separator ever.

Here get the program: http://www.medieval.it/cuesplitter-pc/menu-id-71.html

However, Medieval CUE Splitter is a Windows-based tool and there is still no plan for developing the Mac version. If you insist to run Medieval CUE Splitter on Mac, you need to spend $249 to get VMware Workstation Virtual machine which will allow you run Medieval CUE Splitter on Mac. That is too expensive.

I know a more cheap but useful CUE Splitter on both Mac and Windows: http://www.faasoft.com/articles/medieval-cue-splitter-for-mac.html

It supports splitting many audio formats like split MP3, split WAV, split FLAC, split APE, split M4A, WMA, DTS, MPC, WV, AMR, AU, AAC, AIFF, TAK, TTA, RA and more.
