I realise someone must have done a theme that looks all plain like Windows 2000 but what I'm wondering is if there is a way to simply strip away the theming that comes with the Portable apps menu and let the boring old grey widgets show through?
So it isn't theming I'm interested in so much as stripping the menu down to the bare essentials. Any ideas?

The Themes are for the Portable Apps Menu Mod or The Regular Portable Apps Menu, but its a little bit trickier to install
Thanks for the advice. Will give that a try for starters. Think I'm probably going to have to eventually dig into the code to make the all changes I really want though.
