First, sorry if the question have ever been asked several times, but i can't find it ...
So, my problem is that when i open the PortableApps, the menu is not organized like i'd like it to be ... For exemple, I want to have Firefox first, then Pidgin, then VLC, then 7Zip ...
How should i do to change that ?
I have a second question : in the menu, i want to change the applications names, like change "PortableFirefox" to "Firefox" ... How could i do that ?

at least not until the newer menu comes out in a couple of months. Or you can DIY and change a few lines of code and recompile the launchers, but you'd probably wouldn't want that, would you?

It s**** ... It's not very hard to put it in the application, however .
Although it is unofficial, there is a mod of the PA menu called R31 that has the ability to rename apps. However, it is not supported by PA in anyway, but it works just fine. If you have the latest menu version, you can use this patch to change to R31. https://portableapps.com/node/13642

Sure thing. However, John doesn't like us linking to the menu mods, as the creators of them (Smithtech, R30/R31, Geek Menu) joined the development team of the official menu, so their fetures will be added to the official menu eventually.
