Not enough space on disk? (Not as dumb as you're thinking)

I'm trying to backup a 16.8GB folder over a network. The drive I am backing up to has 219GB of free space, but when I start the backup it says this:

System Error: There is not enough space on the disk

The settings are:

Backup Type: update
Backup Format: 7 Zip
Compression Ratio: normal

Any ideas on this?

Don't quote me on this,

Don't quote me on this, because I dont have much experience with Toucan, but I don't believe Toucan supports backing up over a network (yet)

Hmm,

how much space is there on the disk you are backing up, 7zip (the program the backup part of Toucan is based on) puts a temporary file on the drive that you are backing up and it could be complaining about this.

Oh sweet, found the problem.

Oh sweet, found the problem. 7Zip is creating a temp file in the Toucan folder, which is on the system drive of my backup machine. The temp file (which is a copy of the archive it's updating) fills up the system drive. I've moved the Toucan program folder to the backup drive that's got heaps of space, it works fine now.

Thanks guys!
