mines perfect doesn't load at all, the splashscreen displays and then nothing. what is the deal, any suggestions?

2. Redownload and reinstall so you know that there are no corrupted files causing it.

I have a similar problem. Tried suggestion submitted by Simeon and problem is still there. Software executes, splash screen appears and disappears and I'm left with a Mines-perfect indication in the lower bar. Right click shows a restore selection but when clicked nothing opens. I'm running a Dell Latitude D610 with Windows XP 2002 SP 2
