FFPortable 2 is Working Slowly

The title says all, Firefox Portable 2 is working slowly on my 4 GB Kingston Flash.
Sometimes it freezes also.
Is it because of low speed of my flash drive?
Or is FFP 3RC2 as slow as FFP 2?

It's due to the speed of the drive. FF3 is more drive intensive than FF2 was. And flash drives can only perform one operation at a time.
