Searching your error returns a bunch of results. I'm sure one of those contains the solution.
And welcome to (the) PortableApps.com (forums)!
Yes, this is a problem and a disappointment. I have the same display problems, but also -- in addition -- the word wrap doesn't work.
Unfortunately, this bug makes the portable version of Thunderbird unusuable.
Will this bug be able to be looked at and perhaps fixed? Any time frame in mind?
Thanks

To get rid of the line, just delete the chrome/offline.manifest file and everything should work fine.

Hi Simeon,
Thank you for your post. Deleting that file fixed both problems.
"What Word Wrap" -- before deleting the file you suggested Thunderbird did not make its viewing screen the size it should be. Everything was pushed to the right and the printing, graphics etc ran off the page without any way of viewing what was on the far right of the page.
Deleting that file also fixed that. The page contents and the GUI is now the size of the screen and centered.
Thank you.
