A few beginner Quistions

Hey there

2 beginner quistions

1:

I have Firefox 2.0.0.14 on my PC as default browser.

Will that conflict with the portable versions of Firefox?

Or - should I use Internet Explorer instead as default?

... well I hornestly prefer Firefox ...

- but will awoid conflicts and so on, if there is such ????? -

2:
Is there Danish language pack for older versions of Firefox Portable?

If I want to try the oldest or someone else, who not are 2.0.0.14 or the latest 3 beta

Hi

First thing: Welcome to PortableApps.com Smile

Now regarding your questions:

  1. No it wont conflict. The portable Firefox will only launch if the local one isnt running and it will only access the profile on your USB drive so the 2 profiles dont interfere.
  2. Yes there is. Install the locale switcher Addon as usual and then go to http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.14/wi... to download the language pack you want. I think the latest version should work with older versions of firefox but it is safer to download the one for the version you want to use. For that just replace the "2.0.0.14" in the link with the version number of the firefox version you intend to use. Alternatively you can navigate to http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/, then go to your version number and then to "win32/xpi/"

Hope that helps.
