This is one of the best rss readers i have ever seen; BlogBridge. I would love to have this as an portable app! It is open source, written in Java. I have no idea how i could make it portable, but if anyone could do this, or give me some pointers on how to do this easely, i would be thrilled!

Aye, java's the rub. John T Haller hasn't finalized java support, so, there in lies a problem.
We do however offer sage
Also, there is a miranda extension that can handle rss feeds.
Too many lonely hearts in the real world
Too many bridges you can burn
Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world
Thanks for ur comment!
I surmised that java support is not finalized yet. I saw that it works for openoffice, and that the effort for portable java are promising (and logical; a folder of shared libraries in the portableapps folder). I know sage from way back, and it is a good simple rss reader, but lacks a lot of features that are so cool from blogbridge. Offline reading and making a 'keyword feed' which pulls items from all the feeds based on keywords. I just keep my fingers crossed that one day blogbridge will be portable and untill that time i'll just use it on my home pc
thanks again!
