I have created an google account with my yahoo id. what should I do to access google talk with it.
I am able to access my gmail account with pidgin but what about google accounts with other address

What exactly do you mean?
I think what he made is that he suscribed his yahoo account (somebody@yahoo.com) under Google, so he could access iGoogle with it and have a customized homepage, access Google Docs, etc.
I am not sure if it is possible to connect to Google Talk with another email address than a gmail.com suffix. You could try to connect to Google Talk with your yahoo.com address and the password that was set-up under Google. The last time I used Pidgin, settings up a Google Talk account was pretty straightforward.
If it doesn't work, you might have to use a Gmail account to connect to Google Talk, but I would be surprised if that was the case.
I can connect with normal google talk, but how do I connect using Pidgin
Add your googleTalk account with the 'XMPP' protocol. Use 'gmail.com' as the domain and 'home' as the resource. Your other information is how you expect. It has worked for me for years on multiple implementations, including the portable one from here.
