Anyone else having problems with the new del.icio.us plug-in for FF3? It worked fine on the PC that I installed FF3 Portable, but on another PC del.icio.us isn't loaded with portable FF.
Is the problem that the del.icio.us plug-in is not compatible with the portable version of Firefox 3?
Thx,

Did it work on "another PC" with FF2 portable?
If this is a true "Plug-In" and not an "Add-On" you need to be aware that many "plugins" are not "portable aware".
Even if you "install" them using FFP they may put key files on the host machine that you may not be aware of, or expect them to be there in the first place.
"Plugins" plug into the full/main/installed version of a program [hence the name, plugin].
There are exceptions but, for example, the Windows Media Player plugin, even if properly installed, will not work if the host machine does not have Windows Media Player. There is nothing to "plug into".
Hence my question, did/does this work with FFP2?
If it did, then something else has come into play.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
Hi Tim,
Yes, the "add-on" of del.icio.us worked great with FFP2. When I upgraded to FFP3 the add-on was not supported -- I had to upgrade to the latest version of the del.icio.us add-on (located here: http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3615).
It's the new one that doesn't seem to work with the portable version of FF3.

Then I am at a loss here, sorry
Anybody else??

For me, it's working like a charm - much better than in FF2. You may try it with a brand new del.icio.us account - just for testing.
I can't get this to work with my copy of Firefox Portable. It used to work fine with Firefox Portable version 2. This is the error message that I get:
Error: e.location.getItemLocation(e.id) is undefined
Source File: file:///F:/PortableApps/FirefoxPortable/App/firefox/components/nsExtensionManager.js
Line: 4007
This is just so frustrating for me.
