Hi,
I've got a problem, that TB can't moved the email to the folder sent.
The file "virtualfolder.dat" is fault.
Must I re-install TB or can I repair this file.
Here is the error report after sending:
The messages could not be moved or copied to folder 'Sent' because writing to folder failed.
To gain disk space, from the File menu, first choose Empty Trash, and then choose Compact Folders,
and then try again.
After confirming a new message appears:
There was an error copying the message to the Sent folder. Retry?
I've already do the tips in the error report, but nothing's better - same problem.
Do you have lots of virtual folders? I dont think reinstalling will delete the file so what happens if you delete virtualfolder.dat?
Sent normally isnt a virtual folder so it shouldnt be a problem. But maybe you have a virtual folder and the email you want to move to Sent is caught by the filter and because of the corrupted file he cant set a link to the virtual folder and thats causing the error.

makes me think that you are running out of space on your usb? So that's why it can't copy to the sent folder? I have noticed that when I was running out of disk space on my usb, I needed a lot more space than I thought to transfer files over. Maybe because the transferring program used some of the usb key to temporarily hold files over? Like it would make all the good copies before it deleted the old ones.

Hi,
the space on my USB is OK. Over 400 MB are free. I've got no email with att and in my three folders are only a few emails. Only text.
So I'm testing to install it again. I hope to find an answer...
I deinstalled TB and find out, that TB created a new folder in the folder MAIL, called Local Folder-1.
At deinstalled
After manual removing I saved the folder MAIL and Extensions.
So I install the TB again, copied the two folders and TB is now saving the sent messages in the correct folder.
My email folders are saved in the sidebar. Just like nothing's happend.
In which folder are saved the email addresses?
For the next breakdown, I want be ready for.
