It downloads just fine. Try a different mirror.
The download issue is noticeable because the main SF page won't be reachable (you won't get any response when you click the DL button on PortableApps.com). And I think they're done now anyway.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
why yesterdays download counts say "0"?

All statistics charts show 0 for the last three days and even show the same day twice or three times. I think something got broken while moving to new severs.
