I've downloaded FFP3 and it works great but I was with FFP2 (like a lot of people) and I'd like to transfert all my settings and passwords. Do there is a way to make a backup of these settings from FFP2 to FFP3 without reprogram one by one?

You can try to backup your FFP2 and then install FFP3 over, this would upgrade your existent copy of FFP without losing your setings nor passwords.
If the above doesn't work, try to copy your FFP2 profile folder (i.e. X:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile) to the FFP3 Data folder.

Hi,
I chose the second option because I didn't know how to do a backup of Firefox. Do I use the backup option of the portable apps menu or an option in firefox? And for the second option, I don't think it worked because my passwords aren't in the list.

so it´s an upgrade not an update. If you´d prefer a full upgrade with complete profile, just install FFP3 over FFP2 (after full backup , of course). If you want a fresh install with only passwords presaved, export them in FFP2 with password exporter addon, just reimport into FFP3 with the same addon.
