I'm just wondering if Civilization 3 or 4 is possible to make portable. Does it have to be thinstalled, or will it run with no changes? Is there another way besides thinstalling?

Usually Thinstall is kinda expensive, but the PAT is quite simple to use (with basic NSIS skills).
If it doesn't belong in request apps, this would belong best in Portable App Development ;).

PAT is the Portable Application Template.
The smilies module is unstable.
