Rate The Laptop

Okay, I've seen everybody else make a post on there new computer. So I think I will to.

I'm looking to get This Laptop

TOSHIBA Satellite A215-S5829
Operating System Windows Vista Home Premium
CPU Type AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-57 1.9GHz
Memory Size 1GB DDR2
Hard Disk 160GB
CPU Type AMD Mobile Athlon 64 X2
CPU Speed TK-57(1.90GHz)
Operating System Windows Vista Home Premium
Graphics
GPU/VPU ATI Radeon X1200 IGP
Video Memory 128MB-319MB Dynamically Allocated Shared Graphics Memory
Graphic Type Integrated Card

Yes, its Vista.I think I'll add extra RAM after I get it. I have a few issues with it, one being that its a 64 bit processor, but the Vista is a 32 version. I had Toshiba tell me it would work fine, and another told me it probably wouldn't like it.

What say you? Mostly, it needs to be able to handle web surfing and development- AHK and NSIS. I have a computer with more processor power I could use for anything else. It also needs to handle web development with something like Drupal.

Thanks one and all for your consideration.

It will NEED 2GB of RAM to

It will NEED 2GB of RAM to run Vista well. The processor is 64-bit compatible, not a 64-bit processor, so yes, anything 32-bit will run just fine.

In my experiences, and in experiences of friends, Toshiba laptops are fairly crappy, but they have good customer service. Most others are great laptops but if you have a problem, their customer service sux (HP is by far the worst for laptop-related customer service)

More Ram

I would advise getting an extra gig of ram.
