OK...so I downloaded and installed Firefox 3 Portable and everything is working great except one little thing.
Whenever I go to Google Docs, as the page finishes loading I receive a modal dialog box that says "the page at http://docs.google.com says: a". Actually, this consistently only happens the first time I load the page. On subsequent reloads it may or may not display.
On a non-portable installation of Firefox 3, I do not receive this.
Any ideas?
Standard info:
Windows XP Pro, fully patched
Google Gears not installed

have you tried disabling all the extensions you currently have on your Firefox Portable and see if you have the same problem?
I currently use FFP 3.0 and I don't obtain any error messages when accessing Google Docs.
turned out it was a greasemonkey script but I would never have found it had I not disabled the greasemonkey extension...forgot I even had the script installed
