seems to work under vista

I've just tried it with vista ultimate sp1, and it works well and it doesn't leave anything obvious behind

it is a shame the application itself isn't being developed anymore...it's a neat program

is this app likely to be taken up by anyone else, condsidering its very handy and open source? Haven't given this a real go yet but the concept seems very valuable I think.

Do you want the portable

Do you want the portable version developed or the app itself? Since the app itself hasn't been updated since Sep 2007, I'd call it "dead" for now. Since the portable version is using the latest version of the app, there isn't really anything to "develop"...unless you mean you want to see the portable version updated to the latest "portable apps technology" (latest NSIS scripts).

not really, sysadmins can always see what you are/were doing. its not meant to be used like that. Respect your system administrator and your school's rules, misuse WILL get you in trouble. If you shouldn't do it, then don't.
