Hello, first, sorry my poor english, second.. I like PortableApps, and I use a lot, but, in several times, Portable Menu seem to be frozen, when I set mouse up the tray icon. show me the hint, but, when I click or double-click to show me a menu, nothing appears, To work and get the menu, I made this: Kill app in Task Manager and run again.
My question is, its normal? Whats is my problem in PortableApps?
Best Regards,
Fellipe H.

It just takes a while for the menu to take stock of all the apps that are there. It needs to find all of the items to show.

The problem is, the PortableApp freeze after a time, not in start. Like, after 10 minutes, I run some application, and when I try to run other application, the menu is frozen.
Best Regards,
I'd say your drive is slow.
Keep in mind that the menu is still in its early stages.

My drive is not slow... because its a SanDisk with U3 system, when I used U3 system, works fine, now, I uninstall U3 and try portable and these problem appear.

your port on the computer might be.
It takes often many minutes on my old computer too, there is only usb1.1 port on it so regardless how fast the stick is, it takes ages.

At first startup, the program scans your drive to collect entries for your Menu. This can take a long time, if you have a large drive, as I do. Some of the variants, like the R31 Mod, have the option to store the collection of menu entries and start faster. The problem with that is these variants are unsupported and don't automatically add new programs when you use this option.
Good luck with your use of the Menu and other applications.
My first thought is that you have a slow drive so things need time, even making the menu appear.
Or you run too many Applications from yout flash drive et the same time so the usb-drive speed is the bottleneck.
The solution for the first is to get a faster drive, if the second point is the case you should only run 1 or 2 programs at a time.
Hope that helps.
