after searching the forum here before, for the best usb stick, since one month now, i have a Rally Turbo 4gig and i like to say that this stick is amazing fast!
my transcend 2gig went nearly to the bin Wink
so if you are unsure what stick to buy, be sure that the Rally turbo 4gig works very fine.
hope it helps some

oh.

That's kinda strange. On Newegg there's one for about 15 dollars Wink
Anyway yeah I like this one but the only thing is is that the cap is easy to lose Wink Wink

Not the Same Drive

There are two versions, Turbo, and "Regular".

The one you saw on Newegg.com was the "Regular" version which has lower read/write speeds.

Turbo Version

"Regular" Version

I've been salivating over the Turbo's 35MB/s (read) and 30MB/s (write) Speeds for awhile now, but the price tag is far too high for my budget.

Motion seconded for the OCZ

Motion seconded for the OCZ sticks. They are very fast. There's actually two fast ones, the Rally 2 Turbo and the ATV Turbo. See here...

For mini drives, try Pico from SuperTalent.

FF3 no problem

FireFox3 works great with it, Thunderbird too.

my problem is now, i lost the stick Sad
don't ask me where and how, i have no idea. (very angry with my self)

i will try now:
ATV Turbo 8GB - OCZUSBATVT8G
what have a rubber tread housing, perhaps the cap holder is better there. as on the OCZ Rally2 Turbo the cap been crap. (easy going off)

best usb stick

when your replying to a post, why does it ask for a subject?
you ask for a subject creating a NEW post, not replying to a thread *shrugs*
as the subject should be the same as the posts above it in a thread *shrugs*

Anyway, my favorites are the Sandisc cruzer mini series, because they go up to 8 and 16 GB sizes, but I wouldn't recommend them for anyone who is rough with their drives, like kids or something, as I accidentally broke one leaving it in the front USB too long forgetting it was in there and closing my desk drawer, the USB port snapped off. I was like gosh, I could have snapped that off with my bare hands..

but...for those who are careful with things, the sandisc cruzier mini's are the best out there I think.

(ok, sorry, didn't know links weren't allowed in sigs, it does not say in the rules, so thanks for informing me.)

Size matters?

Warning #1: Be careful not to drool on the keyboard.
Warning #2: Do not choke on your own drool when you see the price tag.

OK, you can look now

yeah, sorry.

ok, I totally broke both of these... Sad

so anyways, my Lexar secure seems to be pretty fast, and I love the file encryption.
