Running PA on 80gb ipod classic

Anyone know how fast this would be? Currently running PA on a thumb drive (not the best, not the worst) but it's still kinda slow and it gets irritating sometimes. Sad

EDIT: Should mention, the ipod would be plugged-in with the official apple sync/charge dock station

Should be pretty fast

Should be pretty fast considering that 80GB is a hard drive size.

?

The size of a hard drive has absolutly nothing to do with how fast it is. It could be a terabyte or a gigabyte and have the same read/write speed.

I meant

there's no flash drive with 80 GB on an iPod.

Well...

Most Ipods are pretty fast I believe (I'm not sure I don't own one) although it will definitely be slow if you plug it in via a 1.1 usb hub. Your OS can also determine how fast it runs. If you use anything pre XP and some Linux OS's are pretty slow.
