Hi i was wondering if you have a photo editing program in development that is simple and easy to use Like Google's Picasa2. I see you have the Gimp as standard (as It is a professional style program it is Quite complex to use, Took me awhile to)a really good program.
I recomend to you the GIMP and it's already portable

Try XnView and FastStone Image Viewer
Instructions for portabilization are here and here
Both are closed source freeware
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
He asked for an image editor, not viewer. XnView has limited editing capabilities AFAIK though

I use FastStone Image Viewer for editing pictures when I happen to be on a computer other than my own. It's not bad as far as free stuff goes. I just wish it had a noise reduction tool and clone brush.
well y is this software even allowd here if in not opensorce which is the only software we are allowd to use in PA

posting a link to an unmodified closed source application as a response to a request is perfectly legal. posting modified/PAF versions is not allowed, neither is posting a link when it's other than a response to a request.
the links in the above post are to the apps' homepages, and instructions to make them portable. nothing wrong with that.

Scheck it out!
I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
There is a portable version of Irfran Viewer which has photo editing qualities like Microsoft Picture Manager.
still i think that picasa would be the best as most people know how to use it simple and easy and it got great features like web photo albums and the ability to post your photos for friends and family to view. i use it at home on my comp for that and it is great. this is mainly what i am looking for. although now i have a 20g portable harddrive i might just put the full picasa on and using that within portable apps should still work.
but it would be nicer to have a portable version.

Perhaps, Photscape would suite your needs?
P.S. Picasa is too clunky and not naturally portable, plus the database can get quite huge.
i'll try that one. if thats all you can do.

Photofiltre is very small & can be used on a usb drive. It is very powerful but at the same time simple to use. There is a free version here http://www.photofiltre.com/
Any idea if this is truly portable as in no reg or data left behind?
