I'm doing a pre-release for this release of Notepad++ Portable because there was a major version change and because I've added multilingual support to it (in addition to an updated launcher with better INI handling and the latest installer).

To test the multilingual mode, create a batch file called Start.bat in the same directory as Notepad++Portable.exe. In that file, put:
set PortableApps.comLocaleWinName=LANG_FRENCH NotePad++Portable.exe
and run it. You can replace FRENCH with any of the standard languages defined by NSIS/Windows. The full list is in the Notepad++Portable\App\notepad++\locales directory.
If you want to set it manually, with N++P closed, copy the language of your choice from the App\notepad++\locales directory to the Data\settings directory and rename it to nativeLang.xml.
Please test and post your findings.

I tested the multilingual mode. It works fine for me (I tested German).
I'll see if I can check out the some of the languages as well.
Pardon me for asking this potentially stupid question, but are there any changes between PR1 & the final release?
I just want to save some bandwidth by not downloading redundant installers if there's no changes.
