Hello,
I already changed the standard email Client to Thunderbird portable in the registry for links already, but I want to have Thunderbird under E-Mail in the Vista startmenu. How do I do that?

the icon to the location. I know I did that in WinXP, and I think I did it as well in Vista.

I can drag and drop it into the last used programs in the vista startmenü, but not on top, where it says: Internet-> firefox and under that EMail->....
in the startmenu option I cannot choose thunderbird for EMail Link
I thought it was just to put it up above the line so it sticked on the menu.
The Start - Default Programs and trying it that way didn't work out as it kept showing MS products, even though I tried making the locale TBP on my PC as the default.
I'll try and research some more.

just enter this text into a .reg file and start it.
Dont forget to change all the paths to the one you are using.
You have to change the path 11 times.
