When ive downloaded and am installing an App how do i make it appear in the menu
If using one of our apps, install to the folder "PortableApps"
If not, stick a folder under PortableApps and then put the app in the folder, i.e.
--PortableApps ----MyAwesomeApp --------MyAwesomeApp.exe --------MyAwesomeApp.ini --------*.*
Too many lonely hearts in the real world Too many bridges you can burn Too many tables you can't turn Don't wanna live my life in the real world
ok thanks
For future reference, a short search or reading the menu page would have yielded this info: https://portableapps.com/support/portable_apps_suite#addingapps
And, Welcome to PortableApps!
What I did was install my custom app by changing the installer file extension to .paf.exe. and it works. I install it into the PortableApps folder and viola, it just magically appears and works.
