DVDProfiler (Intervocative)

DOes anyone know if this exists as a portable app?

Possibly...

Install RegMon and FileMon (Google them) and then run DVD Profiler. See where settings are stored in the Registry, if any, and post back; I can write you a custom portable launcher for it.

Regmon and FileMon logs

I ran these. Seems quite a bit going on. How do I post the actual log files for you?

Hm.

If you look closely, you'll see that many things in there are apps that are always running (i.e., explorer.exe, itunes.exe, winlogon.exe).

Start up both apps, and remove each process (select it and remove it from the menu option, can't tell you offhand where it is). Then, when nothing is in the list, run your app.

You can save the log file as a text file. Do that and e-mail it to me, or, if it isn't too big, post it here in <pre> tags.
