Delphi Project starting/ Need Coders

ok guys I am starting a delphi project and the goal is to have an explorer/web browser program that we can use either for integration of the portableapps.com platform if user don't like xenon or just want to use both (like I would).

I already started the project and got a decent start on a Webbroswer component but it's no file explorer though.

If you are experienced in delphi or have a descent understanding of delphi and want to help out just drop your name here and send off an email to zach(_-at-_)zachthibeau({_dot_})com

No good at Delphi, but

I'm no good at Delphi, but I just wanted to clarify the idea for my own understanding. So, the idea for this would be a PortableApps.com web browser/explorer, kind of like Konquerer (except much less crappy) in KDE?

If so, it sounds like a fantastic idea. I only wish I knew enough to help. Smile

lol I always liked Konqueror

lol
I always liked Konqueror when I used to run Suse. It was fast and fully customizable.

Anyway, I'll definitely be using this when it's finished. I'm sorry that all I can offer is alpha/beta testing. I don't know anything about programming (although I am very interested and willing to learn).

Gimme delphi tuts!

Give me Delphi tutorials and I will help where I can and code like crazy.

(btw, I can help with some autohotkey, or by making html templates for listing the files)

Blue is everything.

The web broswer component

can be used with the menu like U3 does with its app downloads.

Just a suggestion.

I was just thinking, and I don't know how you're going to do the browser part. Are you going to use your own engine (difficult), or are you going to use Gecko or Webkit? I'd be curious to know, just out of the sheer fact that I'm a geek. Wink

Considering

that there's an FFP here, I'd say go with Gecko.
Or, use M$HTML

Well Kevin I actually plan to use the default components in delphi for the explorer portion but as for the web part I don't know I may use Gecko but I am not entirely sure atm
