Website (With introduction movie)
Dropbox is an online backup/syncing/sharing service in private beta.
It has a special client which automatically uploads new files/changes to the server and works very similar to subversion. Dropbox keeps older revisions of files so they can be restored trough a web interface.
It basically creates a folder in 'My Documents' which it monitors.
In addition to that it has one Public folder and one Album folder.
The files in the public folder have download links which can be shared with anyone (They don't change and they are direct downloads).
The Album folder allows you to create albums of whole folders by simply dragging the pictures in there. These albums have links that can be shared as well.
They've got both a windows and mac client and are working on a linux one.(Not open source, but anyway)

Edit: I'd also like to say that all beta testers get 2GB of free storage which the'll keep after the beta period. Everyone who signs up after the beta period gets 1GB of free storage.
It is extremely hard to get an invite trough the front page (3 months for me).

OMG this is REALLY nice! I have 4 different computers (both PCs and Macs) and it is really nice to be able to have the files I need always on all 4 computers! This will be perfect for my school work when school starts ^_^_^_^
