it would be nice to have a portable screen reader in the Accessibility applications another handy thing for disabled people who are blind/visually impaired. you have good apps there magnifier, onscreen keyboard and firefox disability theme. a screen reader would just be a nice edition.
thanks you all.
Do you have a suggestion?
Maybe an open source program you know works well?

If you install the Fire Vox screen reader add-on in the list at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_screen_readers on Mickeyj4j's post to your portable Firefox the screen reader will be portable by default. It comes with only one, rather unnatural voice, but can be extended with an additional download (which is likely NOT portable as it is the Microsoft SAPI SDK). It does work tho.

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure there is no absolute truth?
... Firevox only works for forefox web browser only. not for general computer use.
