The Chandler Project has just released version 1.0 of their groundbreaking personal organizer software. Is it possible that this be released as a portableapp?
Program: Chandler 1.0
License: Open Source/Apache Software License (see here)
Description: Chandler is an open source Note-to-Self Organizer. It features calendaring, task and note management and consists of a desktop application, web application and a free sharing and back-up service called Chandler Hub.
I'm actually already working on it. Just not sure if we're going to release it though as I read that Chandler's future is up in the air.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
It's great that you are already working on it. I hadn't heard about any problems at Chandler - can you provide a link or more information?
Where did you read about this? Is a link available?
Looking back it seems that many of the stories a from Kapor's departure in January as many assumed the project would die without the primary revenue source and driver. It looks like it's death may have been exaggerated.

Does this mean we will eventually see a Chandler 1.0 PortableApps.com release? I certainly hope so. How can I assist in the development process?

So John, when can we expect a release of a Portableapps version of Chandler?
Will you make Chandler server also portable?
Just want to know if you're still working on it? I really wish a portable version is possible, cuz my company blocked all installation software so i can't installed it in my office...>_

Hmmm... I really want to like this program, but it's really buggy and keeps crashing. It seems really useful other than that.
I vaguely remember looking at this app a long, long time ago (maybe 2 or 3 years). It looked a little chaotic, and it was definitely buggy if I recall.
Might be encouraged to take another peek if a portable version were to surface.
EDIT: curse me for not reading dates.... seems like this app hasn't been updated in a while.
