I wanted that 4gb 11 dollar stick until I saw that deal.
But 20 bucks for 4 gigs is good if it was a PNY XLR8 with a swivel cap and super read/write.
But you didn't get that...

External drives are very cheap compared to flash drives. I bought a 320GB WD Passport for not a lot (can't remember how much exactly). The Passport is great because it has a lot of space, is pretty quiet, doesn't get hot, and, best of all, doesn't require a secondary power source.
If you don't mind having to use a power cord, I recently bought a 1 TB acomdata PureDrive for $170. It's very quiet and can use eSATA.
I got it at NewEgg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822216041
That is great. I hate Hard Drives with that kind. I go into hustle of charging it and which means more wires and uses 2 usb for it to both charge and use.
The 1 TB acomdate PureDrive is a very good deal. $170 for 1TB it is a fine deal. Hope it is not very big and heavy.
If you need 2 usb slots, it's because the ports are limiting bus power. No external HD can overcome that without either requiring two ports or an external source (AC power).

I was very surprised how cheap large capacity drives had become myself. It is a little heavy, but not that big. More platters = more weight.
This is a really good deal on a very nice durable flashdrive.
Some people seem not to like the case but I really like the rubbery texture of this one. Either way it's a great deal.

The 16 GB Flash Voyager features Corsair's proprietary all-rubber housing boasting unheard-of durability. In many third party reviews, the Flash Voyager has been shown laundered, baked, frozen, boiled, dropped, even run over by an SUV, and it continues to work!
We obviously don't recommend you subject your Voyager to such abuse, but it's good to know that it's up to the challenge of living at the bottom of your briefcase, purse, or desk drawer! The Flash Voyager USB 2.0 drive is stylish, compact, and reliable, so you know you can trust it with your MP3s, digital images, presentations and other critical data.
Fully Plug and Play with most operating systems and backward-compatible with USB 1.1. Includes TrueCrypt security software, which enables AES-256-bit encryption, hidden and password protected partitions.
is definetely the cheapest and most variegated.
I got my 8GB Corsair Flash Voyager with 15MB/s write for $18.

U3 means
-more applications
-more function(maybe)
-faster(is it?)
-more expensive
I never had a U3 enabled USB Flash Drive.
(Maybe 4 gigabyte is enough. 8 gb may be better. 32 gb sounds expensive.)
