Issue list is three problems and growing...
Empty Trash Folder
First sign of trouble was the Empty Trash Folder Problem reported February 25, 2008. There is no solution, so I've been living with it ever since.
Change Account Settings
Second problem presented itself in July 2008. TB will not allow me to change any account settings. Actually I can change anything, but the OK button does nothing, and the only way out is to CANCEL. This sucks.
I have a dead email account, and whenever TB starts it tries to download messages from this account. I also want to change settings for three other email accounts, but it won't let me.
This sounds similar to the problem Submitted by Wessun on November 22, 2007
Stop Button
The "Stop Current Transfer" button does nothing.
When I start TB it tries to download messages. If I don't have an internet connection, I have to wait for it to time out on each account before I can do anything with TB. The STOP button has never worked.
---------------------------------
I've plugged it into various XP and Vista machines, reinstalled TB three times, removed and re-added add-ons, all to no avail. It's becoming unusable. If these problems aren't resolved soon I'll have to dump this app.

Add-ons:
- Buttons!
- Contacts Add BCC Button
- MR Tech Toolkit
- Slideshow
- syncSW (this is AWESOME, by the way)
- Thunderbayes
I don't have those issues and I'm a Portable Thunderbird user since it exist... I think you should post this on Thunderbird forums (Thunderbird not Portable Thunderbird)...
Regards!
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
I posted on the non-portable Thunderbird forum but was summarily dismissed by the moderator...
"Questions about Portable Thunderbird need to be addressed to that group."
Maybe I should post there again and forget to mention that it's Portable Thunderbird.
While I certainly cannot comment on any of your particular issues, I do wonder whether this is restricted to just the portable version.
Do these same problems occur in the non-portable version as well, so that maybe these comments should be aimed there instead?
