SideSlide is an advanced, portable, unobtrusive, dockable, skinnable, instantly accessible, highly configurable Desktop Extension on Steroids!
I have found SideSlide to be very useful on my thumb drive. I keep my regularly used apps and work data on my thumb drive. While I like the portableapps menu, I like icons on the desktop for some things also. SideSlide lets me have a portable desktop that is dockable and will AutoHide to any side of the desktop.
It can easily be installed to a thumb drive, but currently you have to run a small utility to change the default data path to keep the config files in the app root.
It should be easily configured to PA default install format.

Although SideSlide looks like an interesting app, due to it's freeware license it cannot be supported by this site until a) the developer gives permission to repackage it, and b) the freeware server goes online. Since PortableApps.com uses SourceForge.Net for downloads, we are limited to open source licenses at the moment. Unless someone wants to make a launcher only package.
Check often, and when the new server is up you could make another posting.

Freeware is supported now and I think this program should definitely be packaged as a portable app.
