Win+P shortcut key used in Windows 7

The following URL shows a screenshot of Windows 7 with the shortcut key to bring up Portable Apps in use for connecting to a projector.

I know Windows 7 is a while away from release, but IMO the sooner you know about something the better. It might be a good idea to allow disabling the shortcut key in future versions of Portable Apps, ready for when Windows 7 is released. Configuring it to an alternative combination would be even better.

I didn't want to start a new

I didn't want to start a new thread so I continued this one.

Microsoft assigned a use for the Win+P Keyboard shortcut in windows (a menu for choosing the video output) so it won't open the PAM.
Jonh, you should change it to something like Ctrl+Shift+P or another combination because I believe that other Win+key shortcuts will also be taken.

PS: Ctrl+Win+P, Shift+Win+P also invoke the Windows menu for choosing the Video Output. Alt+Win+P doesn't so it can be used.

Pstart

I don't recommend that, because Pstart uses WIN+ALT+P for showing its panel & other chars for default app launching

We don't need three shortcuts for the same thing

If Win+P, Ctrl+Win+P and Shift+Win+P all do the same thing, can we override one of those for Portable Apps? We sure don't need all three to do the same thing.

P.S. I just searched this site and discovered that this thread is now moot. new shortcut keys are Win+Alt+Space.

If I still knew now what I knew then...
