No, unfortunately one can tell you exactly when to expect the update.
Mozilla TB 2.0.0.17 was just released 2 days ago.
It is more important that the update be good than quick.
I am sure the packager is working on it and will release it as soon as it it ready.
Sometimes it can happen very quickly, sometimes it takes a while.
You will not be effected by most of the issues involved if you are not using Unix or don't have javascript enabled for use by Thunderbird [which is not recommended anyway].
For future reference, to ask when an update will be available for a freshly updated program is considered bad form. It comes across as nagging the developer who may have other projects they are working on.
