2 Firefox processes running.

I have recently put FX Portable on one of my machines. It's version 3.0.3. I also have desktop Firefox 2 on this machine. When ever I launch FF3 Portable I get 2 processes in Task Manager. One for Firefox Portable and one that just says Firefox. Firefox Portable is running but not regular Firefox why is this happening?

What do you mean

by your last question?
All portable Apps from here use a so called launcher to ensure portablilty. Thats why there are always 2 processes running. If you use the regular proram, then of course there will only be one process.

Two is okay

I've checked that on my PC, with only portable version installed, and have two processes running: "firefox.exe" and "FirefoxPortable.exe". First one using 52,332K of memory and the latter one 4,856K.

Since the portable app contains both executables this must be the way it works.

P.S. I should post this as a direct reply to the first post, actually. Need to learn how undo works.
