Hyperterm or something equivalent

Hi.

Since Vista doesn't include hyperterm, how about a portable apps version of it or of a comparable program?

in its latest version it should

I am using often also the serial connection mode of putty.

But:
my favorite for just serial connections is the old 'terminal' called thing from win3.1! Oh yes old and 16bit and what ever, but works fine, and one can configure makro buttons for repeated functions. OK this will not work with TCP/IP connection, but for serial it is fine. Works poratble, since it is only one exe and one config file to be placed in the same dir.
