LightScreen configuration

I would like LightScreen send screenshots to the desktop (escritorio)

I tried with %USERPROFILE%\Escritorio (%USERPROFILE%\Desktop ) with no results in the field directory in the window Options-Lightscreen

I don't know how to put the environment variable to be recognized by the field directory in the configuration ligthscreen window.

Thanks

Hello,

first of all it should read %userprofile%/desktop instead of %userprofile%\desktop (little path settings bug)
second you´d better select your path to desktop by the small button behind the path line (if you have different paths you´d better select a folder on your drive like "/Documents/Pictures" because the drive letter is always adjusted by the launcher.
third, it seems that using environment variables like %root%,%drive% etc always create a folder within the Lightscreen/data/settings folder - so they don´t work correct...

Try this. It may function.

Try this. It may function.

"creamos una variable de usuario en cada partición donde queramos utilizar LightScreen y que almacene las imágenes en el escritorio

Escritorio=X:\Documents and Settings\JOSE\Escritorio

para crearla vamos a mi PC botón derecho opciones avanzados y allí abrimos variables de entorno y creamos una nueva de usuario.
El nombre Escritorio
y el contenido el puesto más arriba ."

We create an user environment variable in each partition where we want use LightScreen and save screenshots to the desktop.

Escritorio=X:\Documents and Settings\JOSE\Escritorio

My PC - advanced options - environment variables -

Name : escritorio
Value : M:\Documents and Settings\JOSE\Escritorio

It goes well, but by now i haven't proof in my other partitions.

A curiosity : I try Desktop=X\Documents and Settings\JOSE\Escritorio with no good results. I suppose it's for the name of the variable "desktop" may be reserved, but in this case create a new folder in X\Documents and Settings\JOSE\Desktop and other subfolder of the same name X\Documents and Settings\JOSE\Desktop\Desktop , and save the screenshot in X:\Documents and Settings\JOSE\Desktop

In the spanish version my desktop is "Escritorio" and obviously this word is not reserved.

Thanks

Start with Windows setting not saved

I have installed Lightscreen portable on my hard drive as well as my USB stick (I use it all the time). However I cannot get the "Start with Windows" and "Hide when starting" options to stick. They keep turning off. The directory settings work, but not those two... any thoughts?

Unsupported

Like all portable apps, things like "Start With Windows" are not supported.

That makes sense... But would

That makes sense... But would it be possible to have a 'hide on startup' setting that works without selecting 'start with Windows' and is saved between sessions? I use a launch.bat to open a workspace, and the fewer 'ok' and 'hide' and 'yes I'm sure' buttons I have to click each time, the better! Smile

Yéllow.

The option you are talking about has been disabled by me because it will screw the computer, in use, up.

"Hide the main window" cannot be selected without the "Start with windows". And Since "Start with Windows" is not allowed to be on, you cannot get the hide function. And That, would be the designers fault. Or.. he made it that way. Sorry.

Na na na, come on!
