Firefox on a read only folder

Hello all,

i use firefox installed on a network disk and some application installed on it. I use firefox portable but i have some trouble with it and i always lost lots of time to update the soft.
I use firefox with some plugins like flash, i copy an existing installation on hard drive, to my network folder in \firefoxportable\data\plugins\
Flash works fine. But i have a module, webdevelopper(.xpi), how can i get it installed on my shared folder ? I cannot get it works properly, i don't know what to do with the .xpi, or where to get the extracts files.

Thx for help

Install

You have to install it within Firefox Portable while it's not in a read only location and then move it to a read only location and set it in live mode.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I found another way yesterday. I just add the .xpi in the extension folder, at the first boot it asked for an install. My extension is installed and works properly.
