PNotes Scheduling

Setting a repeat every 7 days doesn't seem to work; I have never seen the notice appear for that note. When I look at the Control Panel, the Schedule Type for the note says "Repeat every: 00:00:00", which has not mention of the day.

On a related note, would it be possible to add a setting for the initial time? I assume that the initial time right now is the current time, right?

Thanks for the great program,

Don

Do you mean initial time for

Do you mean initial time for repetitive alarm? The initial time for it is the time you enter it or the time the program starts. What if you schedule alarm for every one day, close program and open it after week? It will alarm in a day, as you set.
I guess I know what is the problem with schedule type on control panel - "every ... day(s)" is a new type, and I've just forgotten to add days to format string.

Thank you

Yeah, I figured that the

Yeah, I figured that the initial time is the time you enter it, but it would be nice to specify that I want an alarm to go off every Friday at 9:00, without having to remember to set the alarm at 9:00 on Friday.

Just a thought.

Thanks,

Don

Oh, look, it's 9:00 or Friday!

Now that I look at it again,

Now that I look at it again, I don't think that it is working. The control panel says that the note was last saved "26 Sep 2008 09:00" and I look at the schedule and it is set to repeat every 7 days. September 26, 2008 was a Friday, but the alarm didn't go off this morning at 9:00. I have another repeat for everyday at 9:00, could that be interfering?

Thanks,

Don

There will be new schedule

There will be new schedule type in version 4.5: by days of week and time, i.e. you could set alarm to each Sunday, Thursday, Friday at 7:55 and so on.

Even better!

That would be even better, than what I suggested.

Thank you,

Andy
