Hey John,
I may have interpreted your post wrongly but if not I thought I'd let you know that StarBurn is perenially available for free from the authors website - http://www.rocketdivision.com/download_starburn.html - It is only the network edition that must be paid for.
Also this is really cool to me as about 6 months ago or whenever I first signed up to PA.com I requested from Rocket Division (Software authors) permision for Starburn to be ported which they gave and they asked in their email how it could be done. Unfortunately it was then that I found we onlyport OSS so I never followed it up. Now it seems they've done themselves in house. Its a beautiftul world when things work out like this :o)

I think it is the network edition. It says on the GAOTD page that it has network features that the free version doesn't have.

Oops..
Oh well. Any idea what are the network features that would be useful in a portable version? I ask being the noob my previous post demonstrated I am![Blum](https://portableapps.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/blum3.gif)

Has anyone considered making a PAF compliant version of Starburn using the free portable version available from the Starburn site?
